City of Nashville

Nashville, also known as the "City of Dogwoods", hosts the annual Dogwood Festival in the spring.

According to 2000 Census, the City of Nashville had a population of 4,697 persons. Between 1990 and 2000, the city experienced a population decrease of -1.8%, compared to the state growth during this period of 26.4%.
